It is not very common preparation in this region, so you will feel that it can be done using various different methods. Lets have a quick look what we require for it.
- Cauliflowers, small pieces (or medium sized pieces, as you like)
- Rice powder, quantity as you wish (only to cover all Cauliflowers well)
- Turmeric powder (optional)
- Cooking oil
- Water of course and
- Salt to taste
First, take all the pieces of Cauliflowers and put them in a pan. Add some water until all the pieces are submerged in it.
Put the pan on the oven and let the thing boiled.
Add some Salt and a little bit Turmeric powder in the pan and stir them well. Then let them boil until all the Cauliflowers are soft enough. You can check it with any spoon.
After all the pieces are boiled well take them down and put them in a container.
Clear the pan and put it back on the oven. Add cooking oils as much as you need to deep fry the pieces. Let the oil get hot.
Add rice powders as per your requirement. You need to cover all Cauliflowers with those powders.
Take the Cauliflower pieces one-by-one, take some rice powders with it and try to make a ball with your fist. As the pieces are just boiled, it will be wet and the rice powders will stick to the pieces.
Put the ball in the oil and deep fry it. When it becomes brown in color, take them out of the pan and put it on serving tray. Repeat the same for other pieces.
